Luxury tour operator, VM Elite, launches “Heli-Experience” in partnership with Hacienda Vira Vira.
This program was designed exclusively to be carried out in Chile’s Lake District. It combines expert guides with state of the art adventure travel equipment. To reach off-the-beaten-track locations included in this program, clients must take helicopter rides.
Visiting remote locations by air and land make for an unforgettable adventure experience.
The journey begins at Hacienda Vira Vira (Pucón). A helicopter ride provides stunning lake views and picture perfect views of the surrounding volcanoes. This heli-adventure by our members, Hacienda Vira Vira and VM Elite, provides access to unique Patagonian rainforest hot springs, flying over active volcanoes (Villarica), heli biking, heli fly fishing and Heli Stand Up Paddle (SUP).
The property is lodged in the middle of the Torre del Paine National Park and on the shores of the Grey Lake. Surrounded by Patagonian lakes, rivers, forests, mountains and glaciers, Hotel Lago Grey provides a full board program in summer and winter time. Today our member is proud to announce that it’s services are available all year round.
So what’s the big deal? Hotel Lago Great has become part of a very select group of hotels in this national park that offer year round Patagonian experiences. It’s the perfect place for your clients to venture out and discover the 8th Wonder in the World.
Some advantages of being open in the winter is that there are more Puma sightings, less winds and snow-filled landscapes.
Our members, Tour Mundial and Lakutaia lodge, are ready to make the end of the American Continent an unforgettable experience for foreign visitors. Our members offer an experience to that will guide travelers through what UNESCO considers a top 20 most pristine areas on the planet.
Lakutaia Lodge, the southernmost Lodge on Earth is the starting point of this adventure program. The experience includes a flight over Cape Horn and Nassau Bay. This program will also allow sightings of the Dientes de Navarino massif and the peat-lands on the island with the same name. Visitors will also come up, close and personal with the isolated and magnificent Wollanston Islands.
More islands! After the Wollonston Islands the program also includes a flyby experience of Hornos Island at merely 1,000 feet.
What else? The legendary Cape Horn. A giant rock face standing 400 meters high against the harshest tides the Drake Sea muster. The experience brings you inly 500km (310 miles) away from the Antarctic Peninsula.
